'''Eigerman''' is an [[Astra Militarum]] [[Commissar]], who was attached to the [[Brimlock 17th Dragoons]] during the [[Damocles Crusade]] against the [[Tau T'au Empire]].{{Fn|1}} 

His [[Regiment]] was the first of the [[Imperium]]'s forces to encounter the [[Tau T'au Empire|Tau]]'s [[Kroot]] allies, which occured occurred on [[Sy'l'Kell]]. As the [[Brimlock 17th Dragoons]] were in transit to the Imperium's front lines on the world, they were ambushed by the Kroot in a narrow forested defile. Three [[Kroot Kindred]] were involved in the attack and with surprise on their side, the Xenos were able to kill scores of the Dragoons' [[Guardsmen]]. Due to [[Commissar]] Eigerman 's and [[Colonel]] [[Konstantin Griffin]]'s leadership, however, the 17th held together long enough to escape the Kroot's trap. The Xenos would continue to attack them, though, until the 17th were able to link up with the forces of the [[Scythes of the Emperor]] [[Chapter]]. The Kroot would then retreat after deeming the combined might of the [[Space Marines]] and Guardsmen to be too much for a direct confrontation.{{Fn|1}}
