==Overview==
Belial IV is home the [[Temple-Palace of Asuryan]] containing a sacred Eldar artefact of black crystal, the [[Deathsword]], a sword forged from the energies of death.{{Fn|22a}}  During the First Survey, Belial was marked on the star charts of the [[Imperium]] as [[Forbidden World|Forbidden]] under the interdict of the [[Ecclesiarchy]].{{Fn|2b}} In 334.[[M36]], it was raided for [[Spirit Stone]]s by the [[Twelve Outcasts of Alaitoc]].{{Fn|3}}
In 993.[[M37]], it was the site of a [[Battle of Belial IV|clash]] between the [[Dark Eldar]] and [[Emperor's Children]].{{Fn|4}}
