In 012.[[M31]] of the [[Horus Heresy]], it was among several [[Segmentum Tempestus|Tempestus]] [[System]]s that became [[Iron Shackles|targeted]] by the [[Iron Warriors]]. This was after their [[Primarch]], [[Perturabo]], began a [[Inductii|mass recruitment program]] to replenish their losses, which led the [[Traitor Legion]] to subjugate the Systems' [[Human]] populations and also strip the worlds of their resources. When the Iron Warriors came to Haddon, however, its population resisted and the Traitor Legion had to take the System by force.{{Fn|1}}
