When evidence was discovered by the Dark Angels that pointed to a member of Krag's Warband to be a member of the [[Fallen]], the Chapter mobilized all available forces to track the Warband down. Under the command of [[Dark Angels Grand Master|Grand Master]] [[Sammael]], the Dark Angels tracked Krag's Warband to their outpost on a world near the [[Eye of Terror]] and launched a surprise attack. In the battle to come, the Dark Angles suffered massive causalities, as they attacked the Black Legion in force, as they did not know who amongst the Warband was the Fallen.{{Fn|1}}
