They are headquartered in '''Bastion''' fortresses, which are scattered across each of the districts in [[Alecto (Hive World)|Alecto]]'s [[Hive]] city [[Varangantua]]. Each district contains several Bastions{{Fn|1c}}, which have jurisdiction over a portion of their district{{Fn|1d}}, though the exact number that dot Alecto's surface is unknown. '''Castellan''' officers control a Bastion and have command over the Enforcers who are stationed within them.{{Fn|1c}}. Among the other higher ranked officers of the Enforcers are the [[Probator|Probators]], who are the security forces' detectives, with their ranks being from '''Probator-Senioris''' to '''Probator''' and finally '''Probator-Novus'''{{Fn|3d}}. The lower ranked [[Sanctioners]] are the main forces of the Enforcers and they are charged with keeping order and providing armed backup.{{Fn|2c}}.
