It was sabotaged by [[Quetzel Carthach]], destroying the Hulk along with one hundred of the [[Crimson Consuls]]' First Company [[Terminator]]s, and their [[Battle Barge]] the ''[[Incarnadine Ecliptic]]''.{{Fn|1}}
== History ==
The ''Revenant Rex'' consisted of broken vessels from a range of various distant [[xenos]] species, twisted together with rock, mineral deposits from beyond the [[Fringes|edge]] of the [[Galaxy]], and ice said to be from before the beginning of time.{{Fn|1}}
By the time it arrived at the [[Gilead Sector]], it was considered a bad omen.{{Fn|1}} At this time, [[Alpha Legion]] [[Harrowmaster]] [[Quetzel Carthach]] had been carefully plotting the destruction of the [[Crimson Consuls]] Chapter for a long while, and sabotaged the Hulk's [[Warp Engine]]s to explode the next time it tried to jump, hoping that the Consuls would fall for the trap and send at least some Marines there.{{Fn|1}}
[[Grand Master]] [[Artegall]] of the [[Crimson Consuls]] sent the First Company [[Terminator]]s to the Hulk after requests from [[Arch-Deacon]] [[Urbanto]], [[Rear Admiral]] [[Darracq]], [[Overlord]] [[Gordius]], [[High Magos]] [[Zimner]], and [[Grand Master]] [[Karmyne]] of the [[Angels Eradicant]].{{Fn|1}} This was beyond what Carthach had hoped for, and a hundred of the First Company Terminators were killed, including [[Space Marine Captain|Captain]] [[Bolinvar]], and wrecking their [[Battle Barge]] the ''[[Incarnadine Ecliptic]]''.{{Fn|1}}
