Rising through the ranks of the Navy and blessed by her connections to powerful families in the [[Calixis Sector]], Thalion Vycorious has become master of the [[Emperor Class Battleship]] ''[[Belial(Battleship)|Belial]]'' and overall commander of the Sector's 5th Expeditionary [[Battlefleet]]. {{Fn|1}} She has become was one of the first naval commanders to enter the [[Jericho Reach]] and became known for her skill in destroying a [[Yu'vath]] Dark Fortress in 775.[[M41]]. She has claimed many worlds within the Reach, seeing it as her duty given to her by the [[God-Emperor]]. However , after the death of [[Achilus]] , her fleet became isolated and ambushed by a [[Chaos Space Marine]] fleet. She has since become embittered towards her new commander , [[Solomon Tetrarchus]] , and constantly questions his judgement. She has come to view the [[Achilus Crusade]] as a waste of lives and resources. Unknown to all save her most trusted servants, she has even begun to doubt the right of the Imperium to dominate the Jericho Reach. She has since been deployed against the [[TauT'au]] and notices their value of all life, [[Human]] or otherwise. She has even learned of the [[Greater Good]] from Tau T'au prisoners, and what lengths her treasonous thoughts may take her have yet to be seen.{{Fn|1}}
