A rank below [[Fleetmaster]] {{Fn|26}} which commands the self-sufficient [[Battlegroup]]s that are formed from the [[Indomitus Crusade ]] Battlefleets. Such is their power, that Groupmasters are only answerable to their Battlefleet's [[Fleetmaster]] and [[Lord Commander]] [[BattlegroupRoboute Guilliman]]s, who has assigned each Indomitus Crusade battlefleet with a grand strategic mission.{{Fn|2632}} Each was to be entirely self-sufficient, with its own agenda and campaigns, its groupmaster reporting only to their fleetmaster and Guilliman.
