PAGENAME is a Knight World of the Imperium.1 A moon which orbits a gas giant3, it is home to the Knight House of Vyronii.12
History
The home of the Knight House of Vyronii, the planet Damaetus was settled during the Dark Age of Technology. The original Humanhuman colonists were assailed by the native species, a towering cephalopod-mammal hybrid organism that demanded obeisance. After a long and bloody war, these terrifying organisms were driven into the deepest seas of Damaetus III/II by Knights.1
During the Age of Strife, the world fell into disarray and was preyed upon by Xenosxenos, most notably the Mitu. Mitu invasions devastated the planetmoon, which only survived thanks to the efforts of the Vyranoii Vyronii Knights. Eventually the Mitu were wiped out by the Dark Angels, and the Knight World joined the fledgling Imperium. During the ensuing Horus Heresy, Damaetus III/II stayed loyal to the Emperor and survived an attempted surprise attack by the traitorous traitorous Forge World of Cyclothrathe.12 ==Geography==Damaetus is mainly covered in swamps and forests.3 ===Notable Locations===*Felweather Keep — Primary fortress of House Vyronii.23
