|OTHERPAGE=Warsphere (Short Story)
}}
A Warsphere is a Kroot space shipwhich serves as both a mobile town and a war vessel. They are the last vestige of the power and advancement of the Kroot prior to their move away from technology.1 Each Warsphere resembles two ringed city-domes cut from a planet's surface and welded on either side of a massive spindle.2
Origins
The first Warspheres were created after the end of the first Kroot-Ork war, when the an Ork's asteroid fortress crashed on the Kroot homeworld of Pech. The Kroot were victorious. By eating the Ork's Meks, the Kroot were able to mimic the "technology" of building spaceships. The result was the Warspheres, which allowed the Kroot to go not only into space, but cross the warp. The Warspheres has been the race's primary void ships ever since.2b3b
