Changes

He{{Fn|1b}} was originally among the number of [[High Marshal]] [[Helbrecht]]'s most seasoned [[Sword Brethren]], who aided him in hunting down [[Ghazghkull Thraka]]. However this changed, after [[Lord Commander]] [[Guilliman]] charged that Helbrecht's hunt had led him to neglect his duties in protecting the [[Emperor]]'s realm. In order to rectify this, the High Marshal raised{{Fn|1a}} Holgher{{Fn|1b}} and his other veteran Sword Brethren into the rank of [[Marshal (Black Templars)|Marshal]] and gave them their own [[Crusades]] to command.{{Fn|1a}}.  The Purgus Crusade{{Fn|1b}} and the other new Crusades, were then charged with protecting the [[Ecclesiarchy]]'s worlds, that lay perilously close to the [[Great Rift]].{{Fn|1a}}. While carrying out their duties, the Purgus Crusade received a plea for aid from the Ecclesiarchy -held [[Vatrica System]] and are now fighting to save it from the [[Szarekhan Dynasty]] forces of [[Necron Overlord|Overlord]] [[Tartorekh]]. Holgher was a great believer in the swift and overwhelming strike from on high, which initially allowed the Crusade to push the [[Necrons]] back. However , the fate of the Vatrica System, has now devolved into a war of attrition between the two forces.{{Fn|1b}}
