*Before Medusa was written as a Waste World, the start of [[Farseer (Novel)]] (2002) was set on the [[Hive World]] [[Medusa (Hive World)|Medusa]], near the [[Eye of Terror]]. When Farseer was republished in 2010, it was released under the [[Heretic Tomes]] banner, indicating that parts of its background were no longer consistent with the current setting.{{Fn|10}}
*There is another one [[Medusa IV (Segmentum Ultima)|Medusa IV]], - a planet of the [[Medusa System]] in the [[Ultima Segmentum]] and it was a part of lore of [[The Fall of Medusa V]] campaign (2006).{{Fn|11}}
