Hive Fleet Magalodon spreads terror and confusion through [[Imperial]] space, by secreting its [[Lictor|vanguard]] [[Genestealer|organisms]] aboard cargo vessels and interstellar transports. The vanguard then spread like a cancer through [[Sector]] after Sector, birthing fanatical [[Genestealer Cult|Cults]], assassinating [[Planetary Governor]]s and sowing the seeds of discord and mayhem. By doing so, the Hive Fleet is able to invade worlds that have already been weakened from within.{{Fn|1}}
One of the first Imperial holding holdings to fall to the Hive Fleet, was the crystal mining belt of [[Hyrdos XII]]; , when a single [[Lictor]], killed all of the miners within an asteroid complex.{{Fn|1}}
