==Biography==
Before attaining his current position he served under [[Space Marine Sergeant|Sergeant]] [[Sariel (Dark Angels)|Sariel]], who saved Ramiel's life on the planet [[Tervanaous IV]] as the Dark Angels fought the [[Tyranids]] invading the planet. Ramiel would learn much from Sariel, before he joined the [[Deathwatch]], and still reflected on the Sergeant's words years after he became an Interrogator Chaplain. It was during his time as a Chaplain, that the Dark Angels' inner circle learned that a member of the Fallen had been captured by the [[Kabal of the Bladed Lotus]] and brought to the planet [[Damorragh]] to compete in the [[Dark Eldar]]s' arena games.{{Fn|1}}
Knowing his duty to the Chapter, Ramiel created the identity of [[Thorolf Icewalkdr]], of the [[Space Wolves]] and allowed himself to be captured by the Kabal. There on Damorragh, Ramiel would fight several battles in the arenas before the target of his mission presented itself. Calling himself [[Ecanus (Fallen Angel)|Ecanus]], the Fallen identified himself as a Dark Angel when he was thrown inside the same cell as Ramiel. As Ecanus expressed his displeasure at sharing the same cell as a Space Wolf, Ramiel kept up the charade until the right moment presented itself. This would continue for some time, as each fought in the Kabal's latest tournament, until the Dark Eldar decided to have them team up and fight as one. Still disguising himself as Thorolf, Ramiel and Ecanus worked well together and eventually won the tournament by killing the arena's champion, the [[Wych]] [[Khalys Dzhar]]. It was after her death that Ramiel threw off his disguise and confronted Ecanus.{{Fn|1}}
