Like all of the [[Castellans of the Rift|Castellans]] and their resources, the ''Svonya '' defends the [[Nachmund Gauntlet]] from the enemies of the [[Imperium]]. Among the many battles the [[Escort#Space_Marines|Escort]] escort has fought, is aiding in defending the Imperial [[Moonmoon]] [[Siboseis]] from the [[Space Hulk]] ''[[Lament of Ages]]''. During that battle, the ''Svonya '' and the ''[[Trident (Escort)|Trident]] '' served as part of [[Space Marine Captain|Captain]] [[Tenalus Proteik]]'s fleet, which was headed by his [[Strike Cruiser]] ''[[Dark Sentry (Strike Cruiser)|Dark Sentry]]''.
