She was a logistical officer, mainly concerned with repairing and supplying Imperial Army tanks. By the later stages of the siege, however, the loyalist forces were in collapse. After the old frontline commander of her tank group, Colonel [[Sagil]], was killed, Talmada thus assumed ''ad hoc'' leadership of a motley collection of armoured vehicles. In the last days of the siege, she let her tank group through [[Europa]].{{Fn|2}} Talmada was ultimately killed during the battle's final hours when her personal tank was destroyed at Irenik; her corpse was never found.{{Fn|3}}
