When the [[Horus Heresy]] began, the Lord Marshal's Own were reformed of old veterans, and new troops by their [[Lord Marshal]] [[Ireton MaSade]]. They then aided the [[Imperium]]'s forces in the [[Battle of the Coronid Deeps]].{{Fn|1}}
