*In [[First Edition]] of Warhammer 40,000 wargame, Shuriken Catapult appeared differently to its modern appearance. It possessed two polar fins positioned laterally near its muzzle, which were the source of the magnetic vortex accelerating the discs. The magazine was a flat and circular extension, commonly stationed in horizontal plane, while noted to sometimes being positioned vertically.
