==Description==

This occurs when [[Daemons]] are drawn to [[psykers]] who are weak, oppressed, tortured, suffering from the [[Tyranids]]' [[Shadow in the Warp]], or those whose strong minds have bound themselves to their ruined bodies past their own deaths. After being targeted, the denizens of the [[Warp]] whisper to these psykers and are always scratching at their sanity, which results in the creation of the Unsane. This process turns their eyes into pits of damnation and gives the Unsane the '''Gaze of Damnation'''. Now the psykers' gaze withers all those who stare into their eyes and those who do so, lose their sanity to a greater madness and find that death is only a temporary reprieve. The Gaze of Damnation also allows the Unsane to emit powerful flames of fire from their eyes. These flames will then remain burning, until the Unsane moves on or they are successfully attacked. The psykers, however, also gain the '''Aura of Unsanity''' which can stop someone from striking them.{{Fn|1}}
