This was after the [[Oracle of High Asiatica]] prophesied that the [[heretic]] would rise to become a threat to the [[Emperor]]. Their journey aboard the warship [[Nemesis (Warship)|Nemesis]] has been fraught with danger and they have had to [[Voyage of the Nemesis|fight several battles]] along the way, as they race towards their target. This included the [[Imperium]]'s [[Vigilum Station]] [[Space Station|deep-void watchtower]], where they found no one to greet them. The reason for this silence was discovered when the [[Custodians]] were attacked by unclean malevolent entities. Stateriel died in the battle that followed, but she was able to kill the [[Beast of the Hollow Places]] before finally falling beneath a tide of foes.{{Fn|1}}
