These experienced veterans were called upon by their [[Space Marine Legion|Legion]] for pacification or containment missions, where they would be deployed for navigating tight corridors in anything from urban [[Hive]] environments, subterranean passages, and starship corridors. Wielding a great variety of weapons including anything from [[Bolt Pistol]]s to [[Rotor Cannon]]s, on the battlefield they had great tactical flexibility beyond that of standard [[Tactical Squad|Tactical]] or [[Tactical Support Squad|Support]] squads and often saw them deployed in missions where other Legions would have deployed [[Space Marine Destroyer|Destroyer]] units.{{Fn|1b}}
