Klenova Class M Warp Engine – a relativelly modern variant of warp drive engine, which design foregoes the requirement of a Navigator for the Warp traversal, even going as far as removing any standard means of integration from the Navigator. While it increases the efficiency and safety of normal calculated jumps, smoothly riding the currents of the Immaterium, with spare, as it is noted for redundant cogitators implemented, it doesn't aid much in travel outside the estabilished warp routes.1
It originates from Kormisoshi Shipyards, where it was incorporated in some selected starships for over three centuries. While the encrouchment on Navis Nobilite's monopoly is minor, only increasing the range of single jumps of vessels already freely flying without the employment of a Navigator, the Nobilite lodged many formal complains against Klenova Class engines. Thanks to the speed of the bureaucracy in the Imperium however, their litigations are yet to be aknowledged by the Administratum, and Kormisoshi Shipyards continue their production unabated. Still Nobilite feels free to send their political wrath against any person (e.g. Rogue Trader) or corporation that is found using said technology.1
