After this massive battle the Order could barely field three companies. The loss of their Sanctorum spread throughout the Order and many Novices questioned their faith in the [[Emperor]]. Though horribly damaged, the Order recovered quickly and swore to make the Orks pay for damaging their holy site and would retake Tempestora at all costs. Before they could do this however, their depleted numbers were spread over the rest of the planet. Here they were used to solidify the defences of key areas and were pivotal in keeping the Orks from overrunning several areas{{Fn|15}}. A Commandery of the Order aided the defenders of [[Helsreach Hive]]. At least one [[Exorcist]] of this Order fought in this battle{{Fn|7b}}.
Ultimately, over half of the Order of Our Martyred Lady was lost in the Armageddon campaign. In memory of the losses suffered by the sisters during the campaign, the black robes of the Order were changed to a red color/{{Fn|16}} ==Other Details==Sisters of the Order of Our Martyred Lady dye their hair white in honour of St. Katherine herself, whose own hair turned white when she was standing before the Golden Emperor of Terra.{{Fn|35}}
