==History==
Its journey to find a [[Key-Fragment]], led the [[Space Hulk]] into the [[Chalnath Expanse Campaign|War Zone Chalnath]], where a series of grueling battles destroyed the Blade's [[Balefleet]]. Seeing this, led the [[Chaos Lord]] [[Jekor|Jekor]] to want to claim the [[Space Hulk]] for himself and he ordered his [[Jekor's Slayers|Slayers]]] to invade the Netherworld Blade. In order to do so, the Slayers needed to seize the Space Hulk's command centre, but after entering the Space Hulk, they were attacked by a nightmare host of [[Possessor Tech-Daemon]]s. This infected the boarding party with a [[Warp]] machine-contagion, which placed them under the Daemons' control. Some of the infected Slayers were then subsumed into the Space Hulk, while others served as hosts for new Possessors and returned to the Warband's fleet. Soon the rest of the Slayers and their fleet were infected as well and Jekor and his Warband became the Netherworld Blade's new Balefleet.{{Fn|1}}
Later during the [[Battle of Idolatros]], the ''Netherworld Blade'' and its Balefleet was used to defend the outer reaches of the [[Idolatros System]] from a massive [[Unforgiven]] armada. In the opening stages of the battle, the Ark was boarded and destroyed from within by a [[Ravenwing]] boarding operation.{{Fn|2}}
