[[House Cawdor]] felt particulary threatened, being so intertwined with the [[Cult of Redemption]],{{Fn|1d}} and the [[Thane (House Cawdor)|Thane of House Cawdor]], Lord [[MormaersMormaer Cawdor]], was eventually chased away from the [[Palace of Bones]] by fanatical devotees of the prophet.{{Fn|1e}} [[Thane (House Cawdor)|Thane]] [[Mormaer Cawdor|Mormaer]]Lord Mormaers, having barely escaped with his life, rallied [[Word-Keeper]]s and Cawdors under the banner of the ''True Redemption'', and declared the Prophet a heretic, chasing and harassing his followers trough the wastes between [[Hive Primus]] and [[Hive Temenos]]. Mormaer’s army eventually met the Prophet’s forces at the [[Waters of Soronous]] but was soundly defeated.{{Fn|1g}}
