The ship experienced a severe combination of [[Warp Storm]]s which, combined with a lack of necessary maintenance, breached the vessel's [[Warp drive#Gellar field|Gellar field]]s; the subsequent [[daemon]]ic incursion killed all hands except [[Astropath]] [[Kai Zulane]] and [[Navigator]] [[Roxanne Castana]]. {{fn|1a}} Thanks to the assistance of the [[Emperor]], the ship translated back into normal space before being completely destroyed. {{fn|1d}} House Castana wrote off the hull as a total loss.{{fn|1c}}
