Elite Scions who exclusively go into battle wearing [[Grav-Chute]]s are called '''Tempestus Aquilons''' and are armed primarily with [[Hot-Shot Lasgun]]s. They were selected for the honor due to their self-sufficiency, intuition, and raw aggression, which makes the Aquilons ideal candidates for dangerous missions, where they will face an enemy's own elite forces. Due to preferring to drop right into the middle of enemy lines, the Aquilons are required to have intense close-quarters training and can have specialists who are equipped with various short range weapons, like [[Melta Gun|melta carbine]]s, and [[Plasma Gun|plasma carbine]]s. Their teams are led by '''Tempestors''' and also include the specialist ranks of '''Gunfighter''', '''Gunner''', '''Marksman''', '''Precursor''' and '''Grenadier'''. Aquilons squadrons can be deployed with Grav-Chute equipped [[Servo-Sentries]] as well.{{Fn|37}}
