A chemical compound used by the [[Imperium]] in [[Flamer]] weapons. Promethium is a gel that sticks to a person, and will continue to burn, even under water. Is also a major fuel source within and outside the Imperial realm. Most races are known to use Promethium, the exception being the [[Necrons]] and [[Tyranids]]. When refined it is used to run many forms of vehicles.
