To emulate their Matriarch, the Order wields a great number of [[flamer]]s in battle, believing that the gouts of fire signify the Emperor's holy word. Not only that, but when the Ashen Shrine march to war pyric miracles soon follow. Many are the stories of the Order driving their enemy into volcanic fissures that have torn open on the battlefiedbattlefield, of burning meteorites raining down on the formations of their foes, and of war machines exploding into infernos when fired upon by its Sisters.{{Fn|1a}}
