The AX-1-0 provided a nasty shock when a strafing run from one destroyed the [[Warhound Scout Titan|Warhound Titan]] ''Advensis Primaris''. The three other Warhounds in the battle then withdrew rather than face such firepower.{{Fn|1b}}
After Taros the usage of AAX-1-0s has spread to other war zones on the fringes of the Tau Empire. They are mostly used for special missions against specific hard targets like command and control bunkers, hardened weapon positions, missile silos and super-heavy vehicles.{{Fn|6b}}
