The Tear of Selevia is a Imperial relic that was created during the conquest of the Selevia System. 1
Forged as a necklace with the centrepiece being a large oval midnight blue gem. This gem is the Spirit Stone captured from the dead body of the commander of the aeldari forces during the battle for the Selevia System. The necklace was commissioned by the Imperial commander, Colonel Greeves and presented as a gift to the first Governor of the Selevia System, Sirlene Rask. 1
The aeldari who's Spirit Stone was mounted in the necklace was a psyker of great ability and the Governor is said to have been driven insane during the following twenty years of wearing the necklace. Governor Rask died when her manse burned down one night along with her family. 1
The Tear of Selevia was placed on display by her successor until it got stolen. It was later recovered and transferred back to the aeldari by Alyssana Nero in exchange for information on the artifact known as the Pillar of Dreams. 1
