''Double Eagle'' was first published in 2004, with a paperback edition released in 2005. In September 2019, to correspond with the release of [[Aeronautica Imperialis (2019)|Aeronautica Imperialis]], a new edition was released in paperback, ebook, and audiobook formats.{{Fn|2}} In September 2021, a limited edition was released, featuring a new introduction by Abnett.{{Fn|3}}
