In the ensuing Conquest of Galaspar, the Death Guard, led personally by Mortarion, obliterated The Order and killed every last one of its defenders, wreaking mass destruction and terror. This group was composed of forces led by the Centurion Beyar Kedron and the Cohort commanders who had criticized Corax, for the losses they suffered during the Breaking of the Perfect Fortress.2
