The Incubi is a Dark Eldar warrior cult, charged with protecting the leaders of the Dark Eldar society. Influental Archons often have a score of these elite warriors guarding their palaces and throne rooms every second of the day; a vital necessity in a society as dangerous as theirs.
The Incubi is rather different than most Dark Eldars. They never talk or let themselves be seen without their armor or face mask. The armor is far heavier than anything else used by their raiding forces, and while limiting their mobility it offers protection equal to Space Marine power armourPower Armour. Another interesting aspect of the armour is the Splinter pistol incorporated in the helmet. It gives the Incubi the advantage of a ranged weapon while having both hands free to wield their massive power glaives.
The head-mounted pistol and helmet design is quite similiar to what used by the Eldar Striking Scorpions aspect warriors. According to ancient rumours, the Incubi were founded by Arhra, the Father of Scorpions. Ahra was originally the founder of the Striking Scorpion aspect shrine, and one of the Asur (the students of Asurmen), but joined the Dark Eldar. The Incubi is led by the an unknown person named the Grandmaster rumoured to be Arhra. But it's impossible to know, especially given the Incubi tradition to duel for positions of leadership, with the victiorius Incubi donning the armor of the loser.
