These are artificial constructs, but contain the soul of a [[Daemon]].{{Fn|11}} However during the early stages of the [[Horus Heresy]] it is known at [[Tech-Priest]]s of the Dark Mechanicum dabbled in robotics, which culminated in the creation of the [[Kaban Machine]].{{Fn|9}} Furthermore in earlier lore [[Chaos Android]]s were constructed by [[Chaos Squat]]s.{{Fn|12}} Chaos Robotics have manifested themselves in other ways, such as the [[Bronze Malifects]].{{Fn|13}}
However, the [[Dark Mechanicus]] is known to utilize robotics and favor the use of a type of swarm gestalt intelligence dubbed [[Silica Mutus]].{{Fn|17}}
