Meanwhile, the ambitious Magos [[Bartolomus Virellan]] managed to capture the [[Eldar]] [[Farseer]] [[Torc Dystari]] from the ruins of the ''Gallowdark'' for experimentation. This created further disaster, as it attracted a search party from [[Biel-Tan]] seeking to rescue the prisoner. After Dystari's location was discovered, the Farseer [[Di'sar Caman]] organized a retribution and rescue operation. They deployed a [[Striking Scorpions]] cadre from the [[Onyx Claw Shrine]] via a stealth corvette from the [[Eldar Corsair]] warband. They soon came into conflict with a [[Raven Guard]] [[Kill-Team]] under the command of [[Space Marine Sergeant|Shadow Sergeant]] [[Kyrin Torvaec]], which had been deployed to Bheta-Decima in search of pre-Imperial technology once utilized by [[Corax]].{{Fn|2}}
All authority on Bheta-Decima has since collapsed, and into this void has come a number of heretical sects and [[Genestealer Cult]]s.{{Fn|3}}
