;Death Beetle
*This beast was Death Beetles wield [[Venom Cannon]]s, but are designed so that it took to take advantage of nearly every [[biomorph]] the [[Tyranids]] have available. This includes having horned heads, [[Enhanced Senses]], [[Acid Maw]]s, [[Bonded Exoskeleton]]s, [[Extended Carapace]]s, [[Reinforced Chitin]], [[Thornback]]s and [[Implant Attack]]s. As a result of this, Death Beetles are large enough to loom over a [[Land Raider]], take on any role in a battle and are also hard to kill. Even if they do die though, there is a chance that a slain Death Beetle will simply get back up and start attacking again. However despite their many strengths, Death Beetles are rarely encountered when compared to the other variants of the Carnifex.{{Fn|88b}}

;Scuttle-Basher
*This life form is absolutely Scuttle-Bashers are single minded in its purpose to destroy each and mindedly focused on destroying every piece of armour enemy armor there is on a battlefield. They have [[Reinforced Chitin]], which makes the battlefieldScuttle-Bashers hard to put down, once they begin charging at their foes. When they come in reach of an enemy, the Scuttle-Bashers' [[Tusks]] and [[Scything Talon]]s can easily pierce the armor of a [[Land Raider]].{{Fn|88a}}

;Strangle Seeder
*Strangle Seeders are specially designed to shred packed formations of lightly armored infantry squads, with their [[Twin-linked]] [[Barbed Strangler]]s. They also have [[Enhanced Senses]] and [[Spore Cyst]]s to aid them in the amount of damage they can inflict.{{Fn|88b}}
;Terrorbore
*This Carnifex was built Terrorbores are designed to slaughter even the toughest infantry in wholesale quantitiesand wield two [[Twin-Linked]] [[Devourer]]s to mow down their foes with. They are typically also equipped with 2 twin Devourers[[Spine Bank]]s, Spinebanks, and enhanced senseswhich adds to the amount of firepower the Terrorbores can unleash.{{Fn|88a}}
;Toxic-Lasher
*Toxic-Lashers are equipped with two [[Lash Whip]]s, an [[Implant Attack]] and can also emit a [[Toxic Miasma]].{{Fn|88a}}
;Tusked Shrieker
*Though fully capable of ripping Tusked Shriekers are equipped with multiple [[Scything Talon]]s, [[Tusks]] and horned heads, which allows them to rip through vehicles (or and anything else for that matter), this bioin their path. These lumbering creatures charge full-construct will tilt at their foes and often lumber straight for Elite target elite infantry squads. Even having the higher ground is not enough to defend against Tusked Shriekers, as they can easily scale heights in order get in reach of their enemies.{{Fn|88b}}
