On planet [[Anachron]] Bloodlords under orders of [[Sabaktes]] fought [[World Eaters]] taking [[Lord of Skulls]] as a prize with the machine spirit of ''[[Bloodhammer]]'' refusing to cooperate with captian [[Navarch Ladon]]{{Fn|2c}}.
On the ice moon of [[Ixus IX,]], the Bloodlords were caught in a trap by the [[Necron]]s. Thinking they would be slaughtering an Imperial prison, the warband was surprised when they found the prison deserted of all life and instead filled with Necron warriors.{{Fn|2}}
After ''[[Bloodhammer]]'' was hit with torpedoes, captain regained control of the ship but as soon as he did rage from the [[Lord of Skulls]] sent him into a fit of bloodlust. [[Navarch Ladon]] then proceeded to crash the ship, into the moon{{Fn|2d}}, which unleashed the [[Lord of Skulls]] being kept within the ship's hold. It would purge the [[Necron]]s but also massacre [[Bloodlords]]{{Fn|2d}}.
