The '''Creeping Shadow''' are a fanatical religious cult of the [[Imperium]]. {{Fn|1}} Believing that [[mankind ]] should live in terror, the Creeping Shadow decries the ignorance perpetuated by the [[Inquisition]] and other Imperial authorities, thinking it essential that [[Imperial citizens citizen]]s understand the threats that face them. They work by spreading discord and panic, believing that any kind of terror is beneficial and that mankind should revel in paranoia and fear. Sabotage, mass poisonings, terrorism, and kidnappings are all tools of the Creeping Shadow. Despite this, they still believe in the [[Emperor of Mankind|Emperor]] and think they are doing a great service in his name.{{Fn|1}}
