==History==The ''Dark Sovereign'' took part in the [[Rangdan Xenocides]].{{Fn|1}} This vessel fought at the head of a Dark Angels task force in the [[Xana Incursion]] during the Heresy, where it swept aside the traitor system orbital stations, and destroyed much of xana’s [[Xana]]’s vast arms fleet of [[macro-conveyorsconveyor]]s. It would further go on to capture the potentially [[xenos ]]-originated crystalline void dromond [[MU-571]], along with another of xana’s barques Xana’s [[barque]]s before departing the battle with its prizes.{{Fn|1}}
