However he seceded Kaurl ceded command to [[Admiral]] [[Veniston]], after the ''Divine '' became a part of a small [[Imperial Navy]] fleet in late [[M41]]. This fleet was on an extended patrol and , during its duration, Kaurl served as Veniston's second in command aboard the ''Divine''. The fleet would go on to destroy an [[Ork]] [[Space Hulk]] and a year and a half later, they resupplied on [[Saltius]]. {{Fn|1}} It was there they received new orders, to join the Imperial Navy fleet that was fighting to reclaim [[Mearopyis]], from the [[Noctal]] species. When they arrived, though, the Navy's Sector Command placed Veniston in command of the entire fleet. He then replaced the recalled [[Admiral]] [[Kright]] and also took command of the [[Battleshipbattleship]], ''[[Holy Dignity]]''. With the Admiral's departure, the ''Divine Justice '' was once again under Kaurl's command, which the [[Imperial Navy Captain|Captain]] was extremely grateful for.{{Fn|1}}
