Tech-Witches are minor psykers or sorcerers of the Machine Cult who use their powers to exude will of the warp upon machine spirits, considered thus greater Hereteks.1a They are known to reside mainly on a fallen Forge World of Sinophia, and while many Witches are unaware of the entirety of this structure, at its core resides Arch-Heretek Ammicus Tole, to whom every Tech-Witch swears his or her soul in sacrificial blood. As such, they follow the word of the arcane Tome of Ammicus Tole, where most of their technomantic rituals are taught and learned from, although each singular Witch or coven can muse on their meagre powers on their own, with the help of knowledge acquired from torturing captured tech-priests. In fact, they are often forced to do so, as very few outside Tole's inner circle have access to more than a few pages of his book.1b
Although their powers are not under question, the maddened ramblings of the Arch-Heretek and his followers very rarely elicit any response from the warp, and when they do, they are in the same strain of rarity of any benefit to the Tech-Witch. With the few schemata-patterns within their book, Tech-Witches are known to enslave servitors of others to their will through the use of silver neuro-needles. They practice human sacrifices, attempt to force the warp into rummaged technology or try to placate device-gods claimed to be kept secret by the Mechanicum. Within the fractured society of Sinophia Tech-witches earn Thrones by placing mumbled blessings or curses upon devices or casting auguries from components cut akin to entrails of animals, scavenged all from the deserted ruins of Sinophia that was.1b
