Archmagos Amarnat was widely believed to be an Adeptus Mechanicus scholar of great renown whose radical philosophies brought about major shifts in the religious heart of the cult. While never outright branded a Heretek, he was considered a Maletek and banished from engaging with the formal hierarchy of the Cult.1a

The PAGENAME was a group of Tech-Priests who renounced individuality and merged into a hivemind. It was designed to be a philosopher and researcher. The concepts they produced almost destroyed the Cognisance Fleet. While working with Theodora von Valancius, they developed a weapons-grade strain of Tech-Blight as well as its antidote: Eschatos.1b

It was then faced with a dilemma as Eschatos was a weapon which could destroy a Machine Spirit through a Noospheric signal. This created a Cycle which could not be Discontinued; a question it had no answer for. Should the knowledge of this weapon be kept - as the core belief, the Quest for Knowledge demanded - so it may be used to hunt down hereteks and cure Scrap Code or other malicious machine corruption? Or should it be destroyed to ensure the Adeptus Mechanicus would not be destroyed by a weapon of its own creation?

It could not resolve this and so it hid their Ark Mechanicus flagship Hermeticos in the Processional of the Damned and split itself into seven constituent servants who hid their own memories and were sent to parts of the Koronus Expanse 211 years before M42. All in search of an answer. Each constituent held part of the Collective within them based on who they were before they joined the Collective:1b
*Dementz Haneumann had Paranoia. He was a meticulous and reserved auditor and danger-seeker.1b
*Tarzus Haneumann had Faith. He was a warrior.1b
*Axiomantha Haneumann had Logic. She teetered on the brink of becoming a malatek and joined for her ruthless logic.1b
*Abel Haneumann had Imagination. He was a quiet genius.1b
*Pasqal Haneumann had Judgement1b
*Nihel Haneumann had Scepticism. She had originally been assigned by the Cult to shut down the collective, but later believed in its success.1b
