'''Land Leviathans''' are gargantuan vehicles used by the [[Adeptus Mechanicus]]{{Fn|1}} and the forces of [[Chaos]].{{Fn|12}}
Though no two are exactly alike as they have been constructed on many different [[Forge World]]s, they do share common traits. All are over 50 meters tall and are as heavily armed mobile bastions, with most dating back to the [[Great Crusade]]. Some move on caterpillar treads while others walk on machine legs. The ''[[Tabularium]]'', the Land Leviathan of [[Archmagos]] [[Lexell Kotov]], stood on fifty trapezoidal feet arranged in parallel rows of twenty-five, each row 300 meters long.{{Fn|1}}
The Land Leviathan used by the forces of Chaos is easily the size of an [[Imperial]] [[frigate]], moving on both tracks and spiked wheels. It has massive smoking chimneys on its spine and displays a grinning skull on a star in its centre, from which a massive [[lascannon]] is fired. This weapon is capable of downing a [[Marauder Bomber]] in a single shot. Besides the lascannon, the Chaos Land Leviathan is armed with a myriad of tracer-rounds firing gun.{{Fn|2}}
The Chaos Land Leviathan easily withstands the [[bomb]]s dropped during a Marauder bombing run without any damage, thanks to its thick armour, but is destroyed by a kamikaze attack by a Marauder carrying an [[Atlas (Warhead)|Atlas]].{{Fn|2}}
