The symbol for T'au sept was changed in either 6th or 7th edition. Instead of being identical to the Fire Caste's symbol, it instead looks like an inverted N'dras sept symbol (or, if you prefer, the Fire Caste symbol with the line removed). You can see it rendered clearly in the article "The T’au Sept, Hammerhead Gunships, and Breacher Teams" from 2018 (accessible on the Internet Archive) or on page 13 of the 8th edition codex, to give two examples. I'm trying to amass some old codices and other content so I can figure out exactly when this change happened, but regardless, this symbol appearing in multiple T'au articles is currently wrong. Mocking up the new symbol is trivial - take N'dras and flip it vertically - but I would defer on doing that if another Lexicanum contributor has access to a high-quality scanner and a codex. --[[User:Shaztrot|Shaztrot]] ([[User talk:Shaztrot|talk]]) 00:17, 20 March 2025 (UTC)
