The center centre of their small but threatening empire, Loqiit itself is worshipped by the Q'orl as a holy world and is relatively uninhabited. Instead, most of its population live in hive-structures made from their dead which orbit the planet. The Q'orl guard their homeworld viciously with a space fleet, and over thirty thousand [[human]] pilgrims which strayed into the Q'orl Empire were massacred by the aliens in [[M41]].{{Fn|1}}
