==Overview==
The Kir'qath is unusual for an Escort escort in that it is quite slow and not as maneuverable manoeuvrable as the [[Imperial]] [[Sword Frigate|Sword Class Frigate]] that inspired it. It possesses greater firepower than a Sword Class, however, being equipped with both a multi-arc [[Railgun railgun battery]] and a respectable [[Torpedotorpedo]] salvo.{{Fn|1}}
