Created in the [[Chapter]]’s distant past by the finest Blood Angel artificers, the weapon is said to embody the wrath of [[Baal]]’s lethal star. A shot from Fyrestorm leaps out like a lance of fire, leaving a searing line of light in the air as it connects with its target. Armour vaporises in microseconds. Flesh and blood explode into ashen clouds. Complex machinery is reduced to glowing remnants. As the beam from Fyrestorm dies away, all that remains of its victim is a blackened husk{{Fn|1}}
