The Visarch reappeared in Commorragh at the side of the newly awakened Emissary of Ynnead, Yvraine. During this time, he posed as an Incubus in the Shrine of the Coiled Blade. As an Incubus he became infamous, known as the Scarlet Incubi. He later struck down the Shrine's Klaivex and took his position by right of conquest.4a He was later instrumental in Yvraine's escape from the Dark City and the formation of the Ynarri. He now acts as the guardian of Yvraine and has fought alongside her on her expeditions to resurrect Ynnead.2 The Visarch later accompanied Yvraine to Kalisus where they brought the survivors of the Thirteenth Black Crusade to Macragge. The Visarch fought alongside Imperial forces in the subsequent Ultramar Campaign.3 The Visarch continues to serve Yvraine as one of her chief protectors, and during the Battle of Iathglas was nearly killed by Shalaxi Helbane. His apparent death was enough to summon Yncarne, but after the battle Yvraine was able to regenerate his broken form.4b
The Visarch accompanied Yvraine and the Ynnari in the search for the last Cronesword, believed to be a portal found only on the lost Craftworld of Zaisuthra. During the journey, the Harlequins of the Masque of the Midnight Sorrow mentally tested each of the core leaders of the Ynnari, and only the Visarch was found wanting. Shadowseer Laedellin Starshone said that the Visarch would betray Yvraine one day.6a Later during the battle against Genestealer-corrupted Eldar on Zaisuthra, it is the Visarch that brings Yvraine back from being overcome by the wrath of Ynnead.6b However later as they battle the Warshard in the tomb of Eldanesh, it is the Visarch who is overcome by the murderous rage of Khaine, and this time it leads to Yvraine willingly letting herself be struck down in order to manifest Yncarne.6c Yvraine is resurrected by Yncarne, and after the battle she absolves the Visarch for earlier his actions.6d The Visarch fought alongside Yvraine and the Ynnari once more on Agarimethea.7
