The Secutarii's origins trace back to the [[Age of Strife]], with their zenith during the [[Great Crusade]], when every Titan Legion had dedicated Secutarii regiments. However, during the [[Horus Heresy]], they fought on both sides of the conflict, loyal to the Titans they served.{{Fn|1a}}  In the 41st Millennium, the Secutarii still remain as the guards of the Titan Legions.{{Fn|2}}
